I assembled the plane in 2 days, the instructions and pieces were very nice and easy to work with. Its 1st flight was yesterday, 3/13/03. It flew very nicely, little trim had to be dialed in.

Here is the Magic, it is my most recent project.  It has an OS 46 on the nose thats serverely overpowers it. Takes off in about 3 feet at 1/3 throttle. Swings an APC 11X4

Well,
The Magic was crashed recently when I was hovering in 20+MPH wind. Not such a great idea. Nosed strait in at full throttle....here are the crash amd repair pics. Not much damage at all!

Wing tip broke off when plane hit and cartwheeled

Had to hand make/carve all parts for wing since I didn't have any nice tools on hand.

The elevator and rudder have an interesting setup. They are both pull pull with small metal rods.

When the plane hit, it forced the wing into the fusalage

Mounts cracked, I think thats why the plane got so little damage. Mounts took the main beating.
